Pricing

All prices including pnp are excluding TAX (VAT) and is charged at the current rate of 17.5% and added once your item is added to your shopping basket on the right of the screen. Products can be purchased using Most Major credit/Debit cards or PAYPAL Account’s online only.

Delivery

A delivery charge of £4.99 + VAT will be added to all orders under £150.  This delivery charge is added once the “Make Purchase” button is pressed.  Delivery is free of charge for orders of £150 or more.

Delivery times cannot be guaranteed but will normally be 2 to 3 working days following the day of order.
The company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising as a result of failure to deliver.

Warranties

All products carry a 1YEAR minimum guarantee or longer where stated.  Large or fixed items  e.g. Air Con/Storage Heaters/Showers and some VentAxia/Xpelair Products have a maufacturers on site warranty. Please check with us or the appropriate Manufacturer if a product becomes faulty during the guarantee period.

Faulty Goods

Any products that become faulty while under warranty and are not covered by the manufacturers on site warranty must be returned to us within the warranty period. Please telephone or E-mail beforehand.
We will refund your carriage costs if the goods prove to be faulty.  Faulty products under warranty will be replaced.repaired or refunded at our discretion. PORTLAND ELECTRICAL will not accept responsibility for any installation costs associated with the replacement of a faulty unit.

Returning Goods

(NON FAULTY GOODS) No goods will be accepted unless in original condition,unopened and complete with original packaging. Including where appropriate, any manuals or user information documents.  Goods must be returned within 14 days of purchase, and will be subject to a 15% handling charge plus original shipping costs. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the product is suitable for its application. All descriptions and dimensions are by way of a general guide and the company reserves the right to alter these without prior notification. The company cannot be held responsible for the supply of products incorrectly ordered. If there is any doubt please contact us by telephone or E-mail.

Short Delivery/Non Delivery

Any claims for Short delivery/Non delivery must be notified by telephone or E-mail to us within 5 working days of placing an order or from receipt of an invoice, we will investigate any problems you may have encounterd and will take the appropriate action to rectify the problem.
